Questions

DJ lessons in Dorset: FAQs

How much are DJ lessons in Dorset?

Our Fast Track DJ programme starts from £999 for 8 weeks and 12 hours of one-to-one lessons, ending with a live graduation set. Prices vary by location and package, and we confirm your exact price before you book.

What age can you start DJ lessons?

We teach children, teenagers and adults. Every lesson is one-to-one, so it's pitched to the student's age and experience. DJ Archie himself started at three.

Do I need any DJ experience?

No. Our DJ courses run at three levels: Beginner for complete newcomers, then Intermediate and Advanced for people who are already mixing. We'll help you choose the right one.

Where do the lessons take place in Dorset?

You're matched with the mentor nearest to you in Dorset. Tell us your town on the form and we'll confirm the location and available times.

Are your mentors DBS checked?

Yes. All staff and mentors are subject to Enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding training, in line with our Child Protection Policy.

Can you support additional needs?

Yes. We teach students with autism, ADHD, visual impairment, anxiety and other additional needs. Because lessons are one-to-one, the pace and approach fit the person.

Do you sell DJ lesson gift vouchers?

Yes. Gift vouchers are valid for 180 days and make a great present for a budding DJ.

What happens at the end of the course?

DJ students finish with a live graduation set in front of family and friends. Standout graduates may be invited to join the DJ Archie Agency for gigs and radio.
